APPOINTMENTS WITH DOCTORS CONSULTING AT MCNAMARA CLINIC

The Doctors we support only offer consultation by appointment.

A standard consultation is 20 minutes or less. Please let reception know if you require a longer consultation with your Doctor when you make your appointment. 

The independent practitioners consulting at McNamara Clinic set their own consultation fees. At present, the independent practitioners consulting from McNamara Clinic have all agreed to offer the same Bulk Billing policy.

The independent practitioners supported by McNamara Clinic offer Bulk Billing to pensioners, health care card holders and children Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 1:00PM (excluding public holidays)

The Doctors consulting at McNamara Clinic require all patients to pay an out of pocket fee for their consultations after 1:00PM on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and public holidays. This includes pensioners, health care card holders and children.

All Doctors consulting at McNamara Clinic offer telephone consultations to their existing patients. All Telephone consultations are pre-paid via credit card at the time of booking. Your Doctor will charge you $80 ($38.60 out of pocket) for a phone consultation, and can only be booked via telephone.

The Doctors consulting at McNamara Clinic all offer pensioners, healthcare card holders and children under 16 bulk billed phone consultations Monday - Friday 8:00AM-1:00PM.

If your Doctor initiates a phone consultation with you it will be bulk billed.

Any communication with your Doctor is considered a consultation.

If you have an urgent problem, your Doctor will make every effort to attend to your needs in a timely manner.

If no appointments are available online and you require urgent care, please call reception and we will almost always be able to arrange an appointment for you.
